Our two main laws, criminal code and penal code only recognize rape when there is unlawful sexual intercourse, ie penetration of the vagina with penis.

Since men don't have vagina, they can be raped. They can be sexually assaulted, but not raped in real technical sense.

There have been calls for update to this law but nothing concrete yet. The violence against person's act (VAPP) broadens the definition but last I checked it is not in operation across all states.
