Lagos develop pass Abuja? My guy, try and leave SW for once.
I used to live in Abuja before relocating to the states but for you to say Abuja is more developed than Lagos shows it's either you're not educated, sound or you don't go out. Even some places in the mainland is no match for Abuja not to talk of the island. You're talking about the former capital of Nigeria here. You're talking about where the British settled during their colonialism. Lagos is more developed in everything.

Abuja is still under development and should be competing with the likes of akwa ibom .

He is right. You're unexposed and your opinion shows this. Cumulatively, that makes you 'uneducated' in comparison to others.

Education is not book knowledge alone as some of you Nigerians believe. As a Lagosian and Londoner (yes we exist) I can tell you that you can go to areas of the UK, Like Surrey and parts of Manchester where the Man United players all live, i.e Alderley Edge, that are very clean and aesthetically beautiful with amazing mansions.

Yet not many Londoners would dream of swapping London for those 'sleepy' places. Ditto for Lagosians and New York dwellers.

London, like New York and Lagos is to USA and Nigeria respectively, is the cutting edge gold standard of everything be it fashion, career options, journalism, entertainment, art, media, architecture etal.

The OP is a dullard and you are not far behind because, like OP, tribalism and envy of others is your problem if you can be touting Abuja more developed that Lagos.

Don't mind that guy. He is a typical tribalistic Nigerian who thinks emotionally and sentimentally. You really can't compare New York to Houston in real terms.

Yet I know New York has Ghettos I have seen with my eyes in Harlem, Fordham road area, Bronx etal.

Whereas Houston has more space and superb Estate development like Sugar land etal.

Still, even the proudest Texan will not tell you their State is more developed than New York.

It just shows you how sentimental, tribalistic and sectionally biased Nigerians, whether leaders or followers, are.

It is a big problem limiting our overall development. OP is an insecure and tribalistic Northerner. Simple.

Lol. You are the one mentioning intellectual not me. Must mean you believe I am.

This corroborates the inferiority complex that seeps through everything you write. Bruv, you're a tribalistic N1tw1t. Try to improve in 2022 for your own good.

Davido lives in lagos, he needs police escorts to protect himself, he himself is scared of his life, many celebrities are like that, they live in lagos but have lot of police escorts to protect them from the dangers of lagos.

Guy, you are a joker. Lagos is the safest place for high profile folks to live because Lagosians are the most sophisticated Nigerians. Far more than your Almajiri brethrens.

I drive a Range Rover Sports latest shape and have no problems in Lagos. Guys like Davido are not unsafe per se if they go fully tinted and don't mind driving themselves.

Stop saying things you know nothing about as a Maiduguri Villager. Trust me, Davido has a drivers who take him around in plain and decoy Toyotas when he wants to get around quickly and without hassle.

Famous people use security in Lagos for efficient travel, to beat traffic, and not so much out of fear of physical harm.

Perhaps we should talk about your North that is a terror-stricken and backward region where terrorists can kidnap 200 schoolgirls and make all of them unwilling brides they impregnate and turn into glorified Geisha girls.

When was the last time you heard of high profile Nigerians wasted in Lagos cheaply as Gulak and Chike Akunyili were in the SE?

When have you seen 100 students kidnapped from a Lagos School and frogmarched into the forest as happens everywhere in the North daily? Are you okay at all?

Some of you Nigerians are abominable. You will have serious problems you should be facing squarely yet your only obsession remains shading others a million times better off than you are.

Here we go again. Tribalistic IPoBian cannibal. I bet all your lineage are 'made in Lagos'. Yet all you Ingrates know to do is malign Lagos, the Yorubas and SW.

You deserve all the insult you get because no sensible and proud Yoruba will have time for the mischief of you ungrateful Igbos.

You benefit most from the SW but badmouth the region and people all chance you get. Whether you lot like it or not, Nigeria has to adopt restructuring and regionalism or die.

When that happens the suffering of you hateful, vagrant and opportunistic Igbos will have no part 2. cool

What he calls development is serenity and space. Abuja where they have villages they still use leaves to cover their unclothedness. Asides the Abuja metropolis where they have all government agencies and other shìts choked together , nothing else dey the state ...every other part na rural area and villages. Abuja has that northern aura in it. It doesn't feel developed at all. Most people who claim Abuja is better than Lagos haven't been to or haven't really lived in Lagos. Abuja should be competing with the likes of kaduna in my opinion.

Thebosstrevor1, Mr. OP, you are yet to comment on the thread below. You dey run? Deluded joker.

You know how many of your Northern looters leaders have apartment in prestigious development in Ikoyi, VI and Lagos Island while sponsoring terror and banditry against their own people across the North?

Take out the likes of Asokoro, what is left of Abuja? You're correct. Abuja is neat to about one sqaure kilometer around the centre only. The suburbs and periphery are nothing to write home about.

Move beyond Asokoro to see backward ghettos and villagers who still live in 1922.

Some Nigerians are just simply unexposed. They don't know what development is.

I can't understand the noise about Abuja as I always want to leave the place quickly, when business takes me there, to be back in Lagos that is far more cosmopolitan, sophisticated and diverse.
