Firstly, that's not a gaming laptop. That's a laptop with a dedicated graphics card.

it's probably ok for light gaming. I think it's equipped with the GeForce GT 330M graphics card. If the vram is not up to at least 1gb, don't buy it, that's if you haven't gotten it yet.

I used an hp ProBook for office work I only used it to processed my project and academic work when I was in school, it wasn't good for gaming at all.
What made me dump it was when I downloaded pcsx2 and installed the iso file of mortal Kombat Shaolin monks and then pes 2012 but the useless System couldn't play it.
So I came back home and saw my sis with this samsung so I scammed her and exchanged my hp ProBook with hers.
If it can play pes 2016 at least or even the pcsx2 mortal Kombat Shaolin monks then I'll manage

Alright, it wouldn't just play PES 2016, it's also capable of playing PES 2017(just have at least 4gb ram) . Not sure about the pcsx2 because i don't use emulator on my PC. Some PC games from 2015 downwards would probably run on the PC, but at the lowest settings.

Also, asides from getting a SSD, you also need to get at least 8gb of RAM. Any thing below that and the lagging on some games would be unbearable.

it's always more expensive than HDD but I believe the Exchange rate isn't helping. you're even lucky to find one. I cant find one anywhere below 40k

You can get ssd from aliexpress. I just ordered a 1tb ssd for less than 40k. Just check kingfast official store on there. Also go through the Aliexpress thread on the technology market page on nairaland if you have never used it before to know how it works b4 buying anything.
