Is it advisable to buy a new well finished apartment in the best neighbourhood in Port Harcourt where electricity is constant, security is guaranteed, have a play ground for kids, green vegetation, quiet neighbourhood BUT lacks privacy of staying in your own fenced house since estate apartments are built side by side for neighbors who also purchase like yourself.

Build from scratch in a developing area with moderate light, security not as tight as estate, just local vigilante unlike estate that you have to call before gaining access. Road not so fantastic. But you have every liberty to build the house to your taste and fence it so u got all the privacy but live in fear kinda since people around could think you are a rich person like most persons think once one owns a duplex.

The privacy of building is great but security is not guaranteed. In an estate you live with folks who think like you, can afford what you can afford, kids will have a serene place to play and make friends of like minds. Etc....
Building from a scratch is gonna take more money since it is occupying more space and materials unlike an estate that sits on just the space that contains your own apartment.
