Love Or Mislead For Parents To Sort Lecturers For Their Children? by bongolistik(m): 1:49pm On Jan 09, 2022
There's is no doubt that these days, some parents go to the extent of giving their children money in order for them to sort their lecturers in school for the lecturers to pass their children after taking school examination.

In fact sorting is a trend in many higher institutions in the country today and some parents help their undergraduate students to sort some of these lecturers for better grades and result upgrades. These parents are almost ready to do anything for their kids so long they see their children progressing in whichever way that they can assist.

Now, the question is this; Are parents showing their children love for helping them sort lecturers for result upgrade or are they knowingly or ignorantly misleading their children for doing such?

I think the major problem is the corruption in many universities where they don't allow students graduate without sorting, whether or not they pass their exams.

And parents won't want their children's years in school extended and affecting their results and chances of employment. So they are compelled to sort.

So can we say it's wrong or right? It's debatable.

Ofcourse it isn't love but foolishness on the part of the parents. They are aware that they are helping ensure a future where there children would have to pretty much bribe their way through life as it is. undecided

The trend you see today in your higher institutions started with parents paying the way for their children back in the day. It was not always like this. But once these institutions realized that the people themselves did not the corruption, the practice became more open and accepted norm. undecided
