Those 24 & 25 checkpoints at the top 2, will the police only get the bribe from any car going to the East or it’s all the cars considering the fact that they are from Lagos - Benin.

So let’s say I’m driving towards Ijebu Ode now, will the checkpoint stop me as a non-Igbo and collect bribe or they only target the Igbo cars/buses?

If the above is not true, then why the clamor? Don’t you know that for you to drive that long distance to the SE, you will have multiple checkpoints?

Someone driving from Benin-Lagos will witness 24 & 25 checkpoints like you claimed. Those within Ore-Lagos will witness 24 like you claimed too.

I think the best way to stop that is to try to minimize the migration to the SW. like that you will only be faced with the 11 checkpoint you highlighted in Onitsha.

Mr yorubaman, why not a more radical and practical approach such as dividing the country permanently, so that we can have an International border at Ore checkmating people coming into your SW and denying the 'flattiesz' visa?
