A mother 'forgot' her baby in a commercial bus while alighting in Imo state and efforts are being made to find the child's mother.

The driver of the bus said he picked up passengers from Ogbaku to Owerri, but on getting to Owerri, after every passenger alighted, the baby was left in his vehicle.

He took the baby to a media personality to make an announcement so that the mother or anyone who knows the baby can pick the child up.

This is getting serious

I hope this was not a case of intentional abandonment cos there is nothing that desperation can't push people into..

Or could it be that the mother have mental illness?

Do we have a social services in this country cos this is a situation where they should come in and take custody of the baby.


Pls , I know this is a faceless forum but pls don't make comment like the Op below cos it's an insult to sensibility which the poster below clearly lacks, how can you blame the father of the baby when this incidence didn't happen under his custody and you haven't heard the full story but you just assume, what if the woman have mental issue.
