I read the news about the invitation and subsequent grilling of Obi Cubana concerning some transactions found on his account with convicted drug convicts.

And the report bags more questions than answer, cos it looks like a witch hunt from the FG and may likely end like that of the efcc saga.

1) Cos normally they (NDLEA) didn't say whether the transactions where made here in Nigeria or if it was an international transfer

2) did the transactions take place pre the convictions of those jailed abroad or after their convictions.

3) why would they invite Obi when they haven't concluded their investigations? Was the invitation based on a hunch cos the way they rushed to invite him would make one wonder whether Obi is a travel flight risk who may likely run away when he suspects that the authorities are on his tail?

There are many questions I want to ask but I'll stop here cos investigations are still going on, but I think that they are making a mess of their reputation and that of the business man cos after that efcc saga which nothing came out of it, they should not have rushed to invite him when they have no concrete evidence against him but they would have placed in on the watchlist and silently monitor all his financial activities using the NFIU so that this thing would not look like a witch hunt.

And let's try to remove tribal sentiments from issues like this cos they affect our national institutions, let's rather push for fair trial no matter whose ox is gored

Where their is glaring evidence for extradition they ignored, but when it has to do with speculation trust them to be at their best. They will invite you first before investigating, mumu people.

They are weakening the institution and what it stands for because of this reason

You made lots of points. Our institutions has gone to the dogs under this Buhari clueless administration. Just look at how Mompha case is ridiculing EFFC.
