I am 101 % optimistic and l love good things
But can't we crawl first before thinking of flying.

A whole country do not know it's population even to the nearest million.
Today 180mlm tomorrow 200mlm yesterday 220mlm
Na paperless do we even have light to go paperless.
First thing first light first let them solve this modecum that is not necessary now.
Check out this scenario some months ago there is a fire incident in the NEPA building and the fire service was called they said they cannot come because they have no water.they ask why no water they said NEPA did not bring light and you all know what happened the NEPA off got burnt down.

Dreamers, ordinary National identity card they couldn't accomplish, they now propose something more complicated.
This is one of the main reasons Nigeria is not achieving verifiable development.

Mumu!

Paperless government is a process.

The Federal Secretariat cannot boast of steady power supply--- what you will hear is no light

Internet penetration is still very low and slow...what you will hear is no network

Fix the power situation first.

In your first sentence, u said: "I hope we really can achieve it."

Emphasis is on the word "hope". It shows that u aren't even that d govt will achieve it yet u are complaining of d opinion of others

Hope is an optimistic state of mind that is based on an expectation of positive outcomes.

For your information (since you are not smart enough to know), this present government won't be in power in 2030. But they are making future plans with the hope that subsequent government will align to this plan.

As at today only the United Emirates has achieved 100% paperless government.

So it is not out of reason that Pantami is setting an eight year goal.

I'm not like others who just wait for any opportunity to castigate, abuse and insult their country.

You should have said that u are certain that it will be achieved if u actually had faith in what Patami said.

Since u are very smart, then it should have occured to u that if Patami can't achieve completion for d plans& deadlines he set for his ministry, how then will he be able to plan for another minister to succeed in 2030?

I didn't ask u about the UAE but if u are bringing d UAE into a discussion with Nigeria about this sort of thing, then u should no that it's not 7 or 8years that stands between both countries in terms of achieving national goals. There are many countries with better capacity to achieve paperless govt. Those countries aren't talking. It's nigeria that is talking. As a smart guy, am surprised u don't no that learning to walk comes before flying

Sijce you are slow in understanding beyond your myopicsm, I'll oblige you.

No country can claim to go paperless in 2 years. Pantami knows that and didn't make that claim. He has set an eight year goal, hoping subsequent government will take up the task and bring it to reality.

Did you say he's planning for another Minister? Guy you are slow to learning. It's called national planning. Government make plans for 10, 20 or even 50 years. But because it's Nigeria, you are talking gibberish.

Other countries with better capabilities? Are you for real? So until others do it before Nigeria begins to plan. Abeg i won't regard you with any explanation again. Your reasoning too low. Hatred for your country has eaten you up.
