There is a strong battle daily and sometimes the flesh wins when christians submit to it and also the spirit wins when Christians submit to the GODs holyspirit who empowers them to overcome temptations of the FLESH AND THE LUST OF THE FLESH.
Just as Gods is a jealous God and wants you to submit to him and have no other God besides him, so the flesh wants you to submit to it by obeying the Idols of yout heart and following your LUSTS.
THE HOLYSPIRIT THAT DWELLS IN YOU WANTS YOU TO OBEY GOD .
James 4:5 Do ye think that the scripture saith in vain, The spirit that dwelleth in us lusteth to envy?
It Is not that the Holy Spirit produces envy, but the spirit of God wants you to obey God who Is jealous God.
So it is pertinent to understand that when people God created decide to follow the things GOD created , than following him, then they make God jealous.
Because GOD is the creator and deserves all the Honour, the glory and power only .
Satan whom God created is a creature and was supposed to be mans servant because GOD created man in his own image and likeness with sand but the Lord God breathe into man his own breath(eternal life) and man became a living soul.
Genesis 2:7 And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.
Because satan didn't see this secret but only knew that man was from sand and he from stone , he rebelled against GOD.
He refused to serve GOD(in man) and instead wanted man to serve him(satan) a creature.
This was also because of satan's lust for GODs throne and position as God!!!
Satan thought man was just sand, he never knew man had a Zoe life of God in Him!!!
So satan, a creature wanted GOD instead to serve him as CREATOR.
It was all because of satan's LUST FOR power that he dethroned Adam the first prince of the world and made him mortal to sin, made him at enmity with GOD and made him who is Gods greatest work to now be destroyed.
We thank God for Jesus Christ, the second Adam who came to destroy satans works in the flesh and made man to be conformed back to the image of God the son of God.
So we see that Jesus Christ spoke about satans lust also!!!
John 8:44 Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.
The pharisees and saducees were willing to destroy Jesus Christ.
They were carrying out the Lusts of their Father! Satan!
Satan is a thief, a killer and a destroyer!!!
Satan never abode in the truth.
The truth that God created man to be his master and sstan to serve mankind.
The truth that he satan was suppose to serve God only.
Instead satan began politics in Heaven and went to the earth to begin to gather supports from some angels he had succeded in drawing by deception to his side to hatch out a plan to Overthrow GOD.
Revelation 12:4 And his tail drew the third part of the stars of heaven, and did cast them to the earth: and the dragon stood before the woman which was ready to be delivered, for to devour her child as soon as it was born.
Satan lied that he is the owner of Heaven!!!
Satan wanted to carry out his lusts quickly.
There were always wars before the final war in heaven that happened and resulted in satans final overthrow down to the earth!!!
We can see satan's greatest ambition to overthrow GOD was his LUST FOR Gods position.
Isaiah 14:13 For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north:
We can see that this lust thrived greatly .
But there were some angels who refused satans offer.
Micheal and his angels refused and decided to stay on Gods side.
This was the reason they prevailed!!!
Revelation 12:7 And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels, 12:8 And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven.
12:9 And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.
When this happened and satan and his fallen angels lost their Godly form, they began to take forms of animals and possess animals after Adam sinned.
So the serpent who agreed with satan to be used to deceive eve became subtil because of its desire for power from satan.
It became subtil an cunning above every beast of the field.
This means it never had such a character before but with satan's possesion, it now had changed from what God created it to be just as satan changed because of his lust.
So , after satans fall, he became angry with man and was full of wrath!!!
It is this wrath and his continued lust that still makes him lash out at everything or person of God and Jesus Christ on earth.
Genesis 3:1 Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden?
3:2 And the woman said unto the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden: 3:3 But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die.
We must know that satan had been in the garden of Eden before Adam was created.
This shows how powerful the spirit of lust is .
Ezekiel 28:13 Thou hast been in Eden the garden of God; every precious stone was thy covering, the sardius, topaz, and the diamond, the beryl, the onyx, and the jasper, the sapphire, the emerald, and the carbuncle, and gold: the workmanship of thy tabrets and of thy pipes was prepared in thee in the day that thou wast created.
Ezekiel 31:18 To whom art thou thus like in glory and in greatness among the trees of Eden? yet shalt thou be brought down with the trees of Eden unto the nether parts of the earth: thou shalt lie in the midst of the uncircumcised with them that be slain by the sword. This is Pharaoh and all his multitude, saith the Lord GOD.
Ezekiel 36:35 And they shall say, This land that was desolate is become like the garden of Eden; and the waste and desolate and ruined cities are become fenced, and are inhabited.
Despite what God made satan to be an how beautiful he was created, his lusts still made him pursue GODS throne and Position.
Because of his lusts satan failed to submit to GOD, so he was resisted and cast down to the earth.
Jesus Christ saw his fall !!!
Luke 10:18 And he said unto them, I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven.
It was so shocking, his fall really pained GOD!!!
God had nothing to do with his fall at all!!!
It was satans own lust and all his pride and ambition that made him Fall!!!
It pained GOD that the questions asked as a statement resounded!!!
Isaiah 14:12 "How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations!!!!!!
It was so devastating, his fall with lightening must have affected the heavens(athmosphere) that he was in charge off and it now became without form, dark, void!!!!
You can imagine why the world satan controlled then because he was weakening the nations suddenly became destroyed by his own fall!!!!
GOD only proved to satan that GOD owns everything.
When we fail to submit to God because of our LUST, he seperates OUR CONTROL FROM HIS OWNERSHIP.
SINCE SATAN NOW WANTED TO OWN GODS THRONE AND HIS POWER, GOD SEPERATED IT FROM SATAN.
Genesis 1:1 In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.
1:2 And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.
1:3 And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.
1:4 And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness. 1:5 And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day.
Satan now became the god of this world, a king and prince of darkness, the one in charge of darkness and all evil.
God now said "let there be light!!!
This meant the true light from God would shine .
This meant that satan was no longer for God but was now against God.
This is shown in his ability to Transform into an angel of light because God didnt withdraw his power from satan after the fall.
2 Corinthians 11:14 And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.
Lucifer still remains the anointed cherub and Arch Angel but he has been replaced in heaven because it is said " There was no place found for him to accuse in Heaven again!!
Revelation 12:8 And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven.
He was now wroth with the remnants of Jesus christ and Isreal and those who keep the commandments and testimony of Jesus Christ.
Satan and his fallen angels immediately began his war against God on earth!!!
Revelation 12:13 And when the dragon saw that he was cast unto the earth, he persecuted the woman which brought forth the man child. 12:14 And to the woman were given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness, into her place, where she is nourished for a time, and times, and half a time, from the face of the serpent.
12:15 And the serpent cast out of his mouth water as a flood after the woman, that he might cause her to be carried away of the flood. 12:16 And the earth helped the woman, and the earth opened her mouth, and swallowed up the flood which the dragon cast out of his mouth.
12:17 And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.
Satan now became an Adversary, an accuser of the brethren, a roaring lion, beelzebub, a crooked serpent, serpent of old, A dragon etc
His flood against against the woman represents persecution via slander, evilspeaking, great malice , vengeance and hatred and unusual aggression against the church!!!!
We see that this has been the new propaganda of the devil against the church.
He is still continuing his war of blood against the church.
We can describe this lust written in the Bible whereby satan now known as an enemy of righteousness is described .
Exodus 15:9 The enemy said, I will pursue, I will overtake, I will divide the spoil; my lust shall be satisfied upon them; I will draw my sword, my hand shall destroy them.
The Enemy of God in man is satan.
He is the evil that influences men and cause operates in their heart to do evil against the truth.
Satan entered cain's heart to murder Abel his brother.
It was the first murder in the world.
Jesus christ clarifies that satan was a Murderer from the beginning.

There are many spirits of light but they are false spirits , the spirit of truth whom the world knoweth not is what we should seek and to have after we have been saved by Jesus Christ!!!!
