Guy,am very disappointed. I thought you were the best analyst in the sports section but you are just another petty fellow.its so shocking.I told you earlier that this Nigeria team is very average and teams like morocco and ivory coast will roast them.let me repeat my other point,Ghana will defeat us.

On paper, they are more than decent... This is the best team this nation has managed to assemble since who knows when.

What they lacked was proper coaching and leadership! Hopefully, the new coach will pull it off before the world cup playoff.

Guy, no need casting them... They were hard done by. This is football, shit happens! Better teams lose to worse teams here and again.

Group D

How they Qualified for the round of 16

Nigeria was in Group D were they played 3 games. wining all 3 games. Thereby qualifying as one of the only team with 100% record

NIGERIA 1 - 0. EGYPT

NIGERIA 3 - 1. SUDAN

GUINEA-BISSAU 0 - 2. NIGERIA

Your use of English language is very poor. That's why we lost to Tunisia. Next time, find someone better to introduce a football match.

My major annoyance is you blaming buhari.how low? After seeing how the wingers were marked how in the first half, eguavoen should have shuffled things in the second half

Do you know there are scientific evidence that associating with failures will make you a failure?

promising cash is not praises. It's part of gingering them up to perform better. Some praises are better not giving especially the ones coming from a mentor, master, coach or leader. A good coach will never praise his players before or during match even if they are performing great. He should be satisfied with their best, rather he urges them to put in best of bests by shouting at them. But watch him after the match, he start reigning praises on them for good performance.
Lol, okay.

Hehehehe... That is just banter sir!!! grin

I am not a superstitious or petty fellow. I know my grouse with Mr. President, and I restrict my criticisms to pertinent issues of leadership, basically within Politics section.

Of course, Eguaveon is a charlatan who got carried away by his run of luck at the group stages. He met a well structured, prepared, and determined team, and his technical acumen fell short! Removing Iheanacho was one of the poor decisions he took.
