Seems your description is correct, I saw him fixing Mercedes GLK and G-wagon amidst other cars AC last week, my car is a honda civic.....

You could save yourself a lot more headaches with us, possibly money too, my curiosity is, how did they arrived at the point of concluding that your compressor & condenser is bad? 2009 Corolla with variable displacement compressor, technically speaking most of this techs are scared of that compressor, but we are not cos we have fixed cars equipped with such kind of compressor a lot that others road side tech condemned, without conversion, we have a garage at dutse alhaji, you might get it back working for less than N180k, you can find out more about us here.. dr cool western Standard car ac mechanic on Google map
contacts 8 61371793 previous job footage.. I recollect gazzuz recommended a guy with 2010 Corolla with ac issues to us last 3 years which they were advising to convert the compressor but after my technical analysis, I did discover that they have ruin the curent compressor so i only have to get the same factory fit, vacuum the system then got the system back.. still have that compressor with us.. here below
