Congratulations!

Please did your dad send you any money as gift deed?

Also did you do a property valuation?

Nope he provided his account statement, and we just submitted deed of conveyance only for the land.

Hello guru's in the house, please is it advisable to use 2 cousins as a sponsor's (both have a dollar account) to submit an application, one in Nigeria and the other in Canada, although I don't have a picture together with the one in Canada.

My second question: Is it advisable to use an in-law as sponsor or better to claim him as cousin

I used my aunt-in-law as sponsor.

How well you are able to establish connection between the two of you is very key.

Yes you will need a two year course, some schools like Conestoga, Fanshawe and lambton offer a lot of two year courses so you just have to search more. If you end up settling for a year PGD, try to choose one that offers Co-op so you can start your job networking as soon as possible so that you maximize the one year PGD given to you and qualify for CEC

Plz can you explain more on the part you talked about choosing a school that offers co-op

Plz what is co-op

Hello Guru's;

I am in a fix here on how to resolve this issue. I applied to Fleming college in January through an agent; during the process he asked me to get my transcript from my school to back up my application; however when I applied for my transcript I asked them to send it to Wes for evaluation as it's both ND and HND just incase the admission doesnt scale through I can use the doc by doc report to apply to other schools. My Wes evaluation was completed in April and a copy was sent to the school and we also uploaded an unofficial copy of the result. In June I given a conditional offer for a 1 year course with a condition that I must send my official transcript. I sent different mails to the school to inform them my transcript is with WES and has been evaluated and submitted to them in April, but they still insisted that I send my official transcript. I reached out to my School to assist with a copy so I can mail to the school that's where the palava started o. The person that help send my transcript to WES stated that he cannot give me a copy as there was a mistake in the one they sent to Wes as they graded my HND as lower instead of upper credit and this could implicate him if the results are compared. Please house what can i do to resolve this

If you applied since January, February and March and you haven’t gotten a PPR, please order GCMS notes immediately, because June applicants are already receiving PPR. Just so you know why your applications is stalling.

Hi everyone,

Not to scare anyone but please try to request for your GCMS notes frequently.

A friends application had been refused since January 2022 and still has not been notified, we only found out today because we got her notes.

Really!!!!

Good morning my fellow nairaland,
I’m in need of your advice and way forward . Preparing to go Canada through study route with my family ... I’m 39yrs. old ,married with 2 kids graduated in year 2014 with 3rd class in Geology but ever since then being working as a freelance in building and construction till date and wife works with research institute.
I love tech so much and believe is the future so I decided to study Big Data Analytics /Data Analytics or Business Analytics which I’m able get some colleges in Ontario that offers 1 or 2 years post graduate diploma with designated learning institute (post graduate work permit eligible ).I will be self sponsored ...I don’t know what to do or tackle the study gap and also career progression issue with the visa application /officer.
Your advice and tutor is really appreciated and welcome. I have so much in my head that I can’t even write ielts........I need to do this to move for my wife and kids to where they will have a better future. God bless you all.

Hello guys, please is it better I send my passport to Abuja or Lagos? I live in Lagos and my biometrics was done in lagos but I mistakenly paid transmission fee to VFS. Should I just send to Lagos and request a refund?
