THAT THERE MAY BE REAL PEACE AND PROSPERITY IN AKWA IBOM:2023 AND THE NEXT GENERATION.

Fellow Nigerians and good people of Akwa Ibom in particular, especially the young and not so young people between the ages of 18-48.

As we all know, another electioneering season is fast approaching. Political opportunists have gone back to their bag of tricks to repackage the very same strategies that has made Akwa Ibom to remain as the state With such high levels of unemployment, poverty and broken promises.

The sad truth is this; “If we fail to learn from our recent and not too recent political history, it is destined to be business as usual for these political opportunists who continue to stylishly and brazenly steal the present and future while entrenching Falsehood using the apparatus of the state.”

I am of the mindset that we can begin to break the cycle of government induced poverty, political cronyism , economic deception strategy to reset our state to the path of restoration ,place it on the trajectory of irreversible growth, sustainable economic opportunities and secure the future of our children.

Let us not allow these political opportunists whether in green, orange, blue or red garments who have deliberately created a system of calculated economic deprivation with distribution of unsustainable crumbs to those they have given funny appellations to buy their little stomachs while the scourge of poverty eats away the souls of millions of our young people(our greatest assets).

If we fail to realize that what is at stake will bind most of our people to an irrecoverable cycle of lost opportunities and regrets, then we may as well have overlooked or abandoned our right to take our destiny in our hands.

It is not too late to begin to ask the right questions because our collective future as a generation certainly may depend on it.

It is now time to make up your minds to reject the easy way out: “The vulture mindset” and determine not to enable them to destroy what is left of the reason Akwa Ibom State was created.

The season is here and the die has been cast.

Wouldn't you rather choose to be an eagle?

With a heavy heart,

Your brother from the next street.

it's now the turn of Uyo senatorial District to continue the industrialization of Akwa Abasi Ibom State.

Don't know who will win but I hope they don't behave like a typical Nigerian politician. So the next Administration should take and continue the good of this Administration while changing the bad.

The politics where every trace of the former Administration is thrown out once a new one comes in should stop. We need continuity in order to develop
