My 5th jamb exams finally brought success!!

I had to login just to say what I know because of plenty negative words here.

Just make sure you start so strong from your 1day in campus. Put your hears down to informations regarding your profession and get close to some of your senior colleagues if possible let one who’s doing good to mentor you from beginning till after school. If you can’t get any just let me knw as you progress in studies. If you must keep friends, try and keep like minds and a circle of 3 to 4 is enough. Just keep your head straight on your final Viva exams so that you won’t cry when seeing the people who started the same day with your
going to start practicing.

Radiography is worth the wait of five years. It’s a lovely course. Political science and sociology graduates like us are those that have been scammed by school. Was only learning Karl Marx theories that I will not apply after school. They should scrap those courses and maintain STAN courses or better still restrict it to girls

My 5th jamb exams finally brought success!!

I guess your course is 5 years. Read hard and effectively. Read and understand your radiology physics well: principle underlining X-rays, understand Kv and mAs….read your Clark’s positioning text book verrrry well or any other recommended text book…

Practicals….Radiography is all about practicals, it doesn’t matter how well you score in your theory exams, you’ll need to interact with patients, understand, respect and treat them with dignity….you’ll need to produce diagnostic images to aid treatment.

Achieve success and you wouldn’t remember that you spent 10 years trying to be a radiographer. You’ll have many opportunities doing plain film, CT/MRI, sonography, Nuclear med. etc. I don’t know how old you are…you can venture into medicine after…takes years but you’ll make a good radiologist.

Why do I have this feeling that it's FUTO?
Anyway, mine was 10yrs.
3 attempts at JAMB
6 attempts at O-level
Currently in 400 level with a CGPA of over 4.0.
God did it and He is still doing it.
