Despite the Buhari approved new deal for policemen, with better pay, and juicy allowances which was supposed to take effect from January 2022, it has been confirmed that no increment whatsoever was added to the last month's salary.

Sometime in December 2021, Minister of Police Affairs, Maigari Dingyadi, stated that the The Federal Executive Council (FEC) has approved a new salary structure for officers and men of the Nigeria Police Force (NPF) and a major highlight of the increase which Included the provision of a 20 per cent peculiar allowance.

It serves the police well. The same way they tell Nigerians bail is free while the reverse is the case!
