cars and houses from street begging. Then they should be properly drilled, it's impossible to achieve this with 50 naira and 100 naira intake.
exactly,if even they make 10k a day they cannot achieve that.

Some of this beggers use to sell the tokens given to them to some big men and ritualist.
For instance one of them confessed in Lagos last year, that she use to sell the 10 and 20 notes for as much as 50- 100k. That's why I stopped giving beggar's money. God safe us in Jesus name.

What's the big deal and suspicion
about❓

Beggars in strategic locations make
over 2000 to 5000 daily. Some people
drop 50, some drop 100 and others
can drop 500 to 1k. And she saves for
months and years.

These beggars don't pay rent, TP or
operate bank account.

A man who has made hundreds of
millions from stealing government dollars
can decide to go and drop dollars as
alms.

You think that Hausas who are the
specialists in begging don't know what
they are doing❓ Some beggars even
have 4 wives.

This is an innocent woman and I hope
police won't Rob her.

stealing government

The bolded is my fear exactly.

Except they want to deduct tax from the money, they should free the woman.
I don't even think beggars pay tax

This looks suspicious from my point of view. Let just assume she's still innocent. she should be thoroughly investigated and if she's innocent, she should be released ASAP.

What offence has she committed.
Is begging against the laws?
Police should release that woman with her money and not to frame her up.
I will follow up this story to a logical conclusion.

I laugh in spanish.
Let me clear you something you might not know.

On the surface, you would say that beggar is innocent.
Yes, because no one caught her with any incriminating item except for the huge money found on her.
However, this is the snag, are you aware that beggars sell the money they collect from people to their clients.
Dont be surprised that she sold less than 5ok she got from several people to a particular client.

In case you are not aware, politicians, business men/women etc who are into subtle rituals buy money from beggars from time to time.
They use this money for certain ritual purposes. Believe it or not, owo oniru owo oniyo (money from different people) is eventually used to gather the good fortunes from those who originally gave the beggar alms. This is more like what yahoo boys do when they throw money up for people to rush and pick them, do you think they do this out of a pure heart? LOL.

Shine your eyes.

You want to give alms? Why not give someone you know.
Help your friends, neighbours, family etc
But most of this beggars you see on the street? Their hands no clean.
Though, they might not know exactly what the buyers do with the money, but for me they are both guilty.

Peace.

So, in the face of the law, what
crime has she committed❓

Just like our superstitious people beating
or calling police for somebody picking
sanitary pads from a public dustbin
or boila.
What is such a person's crime❓⭕️⭕️

She has to explain how she got that money with the dollars.

Begging has the Yahoo plus side.
Any money you give to a bigger pass through washing and drying. The water from washing is more expensive than the total money washed. Big men use the dirty water from washed money to renew the money rituals (lugudi). Beggers make huge money when selling this type of water. The dried money that has been wash goes to free donations in their local masjids (mosques) .
The implication of this is that the favour or fortune associated with the giver of the notes of naira destiny is washed into water and spiritually transferred or exchanged for lugudi by those that buy the dirty water for money rituals renewal. Some people begins to experience shortages in business or money begins to dwindle from sales without any notable cause. Your favour or aura of fortune has been exchanged through your act of giving to the "assumed" poor without knowing that he/she is a trader of destiny. I learnt a lot from Plateau state before Jos crisis made me to relocate forcefully. Be wise, give raw food items in place of raw cash if you must give beggers.

Are they saying that a full fledged adult who probably has been begging all through her life can't have 500,000 naira?

What nonsense?

This is a gross violation of a person's fundamental human right. That she's a beggar doesn't make her less human.
