Oxford University has appointed a lecturer for the maiden Igbo language department by name Emmanuel Umeyirioha.

Igbo language wont go extinct afterall.

Why did it take them this long to introduce Igbo language as a course in a university where an Igbo chap graduated when admission was not open to most Africans? Something is not right with this development. I do not want certain things of British either in Republic of Biafra or Republic of Igboland.

Igbo is a tough language to learn, thats why its hard to see a non Igbo who can speak the language unless they grew up in Igbo land

Whoever is trying to learn the language has to have a lot of patience and discipline, so I wish them luck

I have experience this too, I have stayed in Igbo land for 3 years now, I never even Sabi make simple sentence for Igbo..
