The name of the current oba of Benin is Eware. Erediawa is the name of the previous oba, his late father.

there are things that have been changed in bini kingdom by the obas before him and this present one, this not the first time. ordinary the oba doesn't visit people and heir to the throne doesn't see eye to eye with his father that is on the throne but erediawa change that one to the best of my knowledge. so things are bound to change by coming and outgoing obas. peace

Ewuare who is on a state visit to Ogun State and being hosted by the Alake of Egba Land arrived at the home of the Former President with his entourage and was accompanied by the Chief Host Oba Adedotun Aremu Gbadebo III - The Alake of Egba Land, Oba Saburee Babajide Isola Bakre, the Agura of Gbagura, The President of Abeokuta Club -
Chief Tokunbo Odebunmi and the UK High Commissioner, Ambassador Sarafa Tunji Isola.

Congratulatory pleasantries were exchanged, wishing Chief Obasanjo a Happy 85th Birthday.

the present oba of benin modernised so many things chiefly because he is educated and well read.
Oba now leaves his sit for visit now.

Yorubas are far ahead of other tribes in enlightenment. When Ooni did the same after ascending the throne some youths here castigated him comparing him to Oba of Benin. Now here we see the Oba learning from the footsteps of the Ooni. Yorubas are trailblazers.

Obasanjo is aging graciously. If not for the grace of God he would have died even while he was in jail. Don't evn be surprise he might still make heaven despite all his short comings, if truly he has given his life to christ.

If he dies tomorrow and gets away scot-free without paying for his many atrocities in a country where the majority live in hell because of atrocities of men like him, then he has made heaven.
