AFRIKA KOMMT! Fellowship Programme 2022-2024: Call for Applications
AFRIKA KOMMT! is a fellowship programme that connects visionary African professionals and leading
German companies. Together they pave the way for global inclusive business and mutually beneficial
cooperation. The programme provides an unparalleled opportunity to young, talented African
professionals for a one-year career and life transformational experience.
At the heart of the programme is an eight-month practical training in a German enterprise, allowing the
fellows:
- to gain first-hand practical experience in a leading German enterprise
- to be exposed to leadership concepts and management techniques in practice
- to become acquainted with working processes and business culture in German enterprises
- to become part of networks of cooperation between Africa and German companies
- to broaden their perspective and stir up their innovation potential
- to achieve personal growth and access networks for career acceleration
QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
- University degree in one of the following areas: Business Administration, Chemistry, Computer
Science / Information Technology, Communication, Economics, Humanities, Human Resources,
Industrial-, Engineering, Finance, Healthcare, Life Science, Marketing, Mathematics, Medicine,
Pharmacy, Physics, Psychology, Product Management, Sales, Social Sciences, Supply Chain
Management
- Postgraduate degree (e.g. MBA) is an advantage
- Two to five years of relevant work experience
- Excellent English language skills
- German and/or French skills are an advantage
- Intercultural competencies, open to new experiences abroad and willing to learn German
