To proceed, This article is all about the bidah (innovation) that is witnessed in weddings of nowadays which are contradictory to the teachings of Allah and His messenger,and that is why i decided to name it "innovations associated with weddings of our time." my intention in writing this is that people who have falling into it will repent from it and those that are yet to fall into such will stay away from it. There is no doubt that marriage is legislated in islam and every matured male and females are in need of it. That is why the prophet says..
يا معشر الشباب من استطع منكم باءة فليتزوج، فإنه أغضى للبصر و أحصن للفرج، و من لم يستطع فعليه الصيام فإنه يكون له وجاء...
Oh youth whoever amongs you is capable of getting married let him do so, because it will helps him to lower his gaze( from looing at women who are not his) and prevent him from engaging in illegal sexual immorality and if you have no capability of getting married then fast because the fasying will serve as a shield for you.(that is from falling into haram sexual immorality)
So, after knowing that marriage is legislated in the religion and the one who does it according to the prophet ways will be rewarded and whosoever did other ways will be punished... So this made it obvious that the prophet did not leave us except he explaines to us on how we will do our marriage. There is nothing that will benefit us except he explained to us and there is nothing that harm us except that he explained it to us and abstain us from it. He said
و بأني تُسألون فما أنتم قائلون ؟ قالوا نشهد إنك بلغت و نصحت و أديت .....
You will be asked about me, what will be your saying then ? The companions replied we testify that you have deliver the message of your lord and you have advised us and have done what is upon you.

People nowadays ONLY COPY CHRISTIANS IN THE WAY THEIR WEDDING IS CELEBRATED

You must copy we Christians, even Quran says you should consult the Christians when you're confused and lost. If you don't copy us who are you going to copy?
