Facebook is just too much, more and more people are getting on. I don't see google+ challenging them in any way.

well, facebook is worried already. They want to launch video chat now. Competition just got hotter. When facebook started no one gave them a chance to succeed, but they did, so why cant google also.

Each will have peculiarity, but I foresee google will enjoy its power of mozilla homepage to introduce browsers to google+ and is already + for the search giant.
Facebook can still do lots more, however such as introducing free voice over the internet protocol(voip) for its chat system, video chatting, etc,

It is very simple !
1.How many of you use all those wow features on your mobile phone on a daily basis ? They eventually become a nuisance after a few days of use.

2.If I wake you up from sleep and ask you which one you will choose , will it be Facebook or Google+ . Your answer should tell you where this is all going. Admit it Google+ sounds like some kind of medicine .

The reason that many people I know have not joined Facebook is that they think it is TIME WASTING . However to the rest of us the attraction of Facebook is SIMPLICITY . You can log in, quickly check what your friends are doing , and get out in a few minutes to do productive work elsewhere. I certainly don't want to spend all of my day doing video chat - that is for kids , and let's face it kids will not pay the bills for Google+ - It is not going to

Having migrated from Myspace , I can say that Facebook has all that most of the users want : REMAINING IN CONTACT WITH FRIENDS ON THE RUN.

google has been there, so they can do things to beat thier competition

It will be hard for google to beat facebook in the essense dat fb is full of many funs and very flexible to use, the fact dat u see other people's profile info makes it enjoyable, and u can easily search anyone u knew his email or full name, it also synchronise ur emails, workplace, schools and locality to find friends 4 u, to say d fact many ppl including me r addicted to fb, even twitter is ranked below fb cuz fb is very easy to use even an 8 yr old can knw fb within 2days of study, fb rocks!

Google is always more than facebook. Poeple just make comments without facts. Youtube is own by Google, the size of youtube is more than facebook.
Google is going into Socionet, Facebook needs to be scared.

Google Earth
Android for phones (owned by Google)
Google GIS
Gmail
Google Search
Google Apps
and many more.
Mennnn, facebook is only 1/5 of google. Knowledgeable person should prove me wrong

naah I doubt. Facebook is what they call a juggernaut in the social networking space. Twitter too. unless Google+ offers something radically different than whats currently available, it will be just another Google 'experiment' that doesnt really catch on, just like google wave and buzz.

What about Circles, Hangouts, and Video Chat? So different.

I maybe wrong but I think controlling what people view on your profile using Google+ might be a minus for google. The fun with FB is the ease of filliping through people photo and profile without difficult. If most people would admit, am I certain everyone does that. Imagine u trying to look through a friend's profile and being denied access due to categorization; where is the fun then!!

Google+ will just make lying social networking more easier as far as privacy is concerned. Imagine these circles

People just dont have to be fake as they use to do on Fakebook because they don't know who is reading. One of my friends updates on FB used to be "Exam on my mind, God help me with this exam, and the likes (anything with exam sha)". I later ask him what prompted his updates cos it was unusual of him and he told me the updates are just because of his parents.

I don tire, just hooking up with all the social networks I'm in is turning into a full time job, google will fail or be restricted like twitter. I wake up in the morning, check facebook, twitter, netlog, yahoo mail, gmail and hotmail. The most annoying part is I dont get paid. Oh f*** it. If it aint paying I'll have to drop them. For now I'm synchronizing all contacts to facebook since it has all I need. Did I forget to add I also have a blackberry and I'm on 2go.

Facebook is passe.  To say there would be no continuing depth to it is not accurate.

BUT.  It can never beat Google.

Facebook is large, going on 750 Million users. Remember too that Yahoo was large, almost every internet user then was on yahoo, whether email, chat, etc. Nothing is static. The truth is, facebook is very jittery and they should be. Not because they would go out of business but because their market share and total dominance would be undermined.
