Compare this children toys you posted here to Egypt or Morocco fighter jets you will be shocked
exactly. I'm sure if you asked two months ago, Ukrainians could post more beautiful and sophisticated military hardware than all these. Its like jogging football is different from actually playing it. In the event of a war, all these pictures here are nothing but child's play

The Nigerian Airforce Jaguar Jets are fighter bombers which were purchased in the early 80s by the shehu shagari administration. They were 18 in number. The planes had to be retired early in the mid 1990s during the Abacha regime due to sanctions and lack of spares and had a low service time. It was the most advanced aircraft purchased by the Nigerian Airforce until the arrival of the JF-17 fighter aircraft in 2021.

So after Shehu Shagari when PDP ruled for 16yrs they never deemed it fit to upgrade our military armaments?

It took Buhari to come and do those upgrades.

PDP is beyond a failure of a party

Nigeria should be the one to beware of Russia. Just one missile that Russia will send to Nigeria. Nigeria and Nigerians will be history

Good day, citizens of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and Nairaland Netizens. In response to the previous thread made by @God1000 asking if Nigeria has combat helicopter gunships, I'll be making this thread to educate the Nigerian public.

Re: Combat Aircrafts Of The Nigerian Airforce (Photos) by Ellasure: 2:59pm On Mar 11, 2022
Great work and courage shown. You can not satisfy everybody.

The old ones say cut your clothes according to your pocket. The servicemen in the NAF have done well. With time it will improve and this could imply that the NAF have a department for training and development and it should be properly managed with a good military research people.

Kudos. There are rooms for improvement.
