1.) The Mark of the Hawk

Directed by Michael Audley, the Mark of the Hawk is a 1957 American drama film.

Starring Eartha Kitt, Sidney Poitier, and Earl Cameron in the leading role, the film tells the story of Obam, a brother of an indigenous resistance leader, who finds himself caught in the middle of hostility between British colonists and African villagers who want to reclaim their land.

According to a December 1957 Film Daily item, The Mark of the Hawk was partially shot on location in Nigeria, after which Universal bought the distribution rights.

2.) Nigerian Prince

Released four years ago and directed by New York based Nigerian-American Faraday Okoro in his feature film directorial debut, Nigerian Prince is an American suspense thriller drama movie. The movie, whose story is based on a stock term referring to a type of advance-fee scam, stars Antonio J. Bell, Dean Cameron, and Crystabel Goddy.

3). Black Is King

Directed and written by Beyoncé, Black Is King is a 2020 American musical movie.
The film was predominantly shot in Lagos, Nigeria.

Featuring Beyoncé, Folajomi Akinmurele, Connie Chiume, and Nyaniso Ntsikelelo Dzedze, Black Is King's plot revolves around children of the African diaspora, finding our way back to their roots. It is a visual metaphor for connecting to their heritage, deepening their understanding of what it means to be Black, and reaffirming their sense of self.

Portion of the scenes of the movie was shot in Nigeria. Filming for the "Keys to the Kingdom" video took place at the National Arts Theatre in Lagos, Nigeria.

4.) The Price

Released five years ago and directed by Anthony Onah, the Price is a 2017 American drama film.

Featuring Lucy Griffiths, Peter Vack, Michael Hyatt, and Bill Sage, some of the scenes of the movie were filmed in Nigeria.

5.) Mister Johnson

Released thirty two years ago and directed by Bruce Beresford, Mister Johnson is an American drama film. An film adaptation of the 1939 novel by Irish author, Joyce Cary, the film portrays the effect of colonialism on an African nation.

Starring Maynard Eziashi, Pierce Brosnan, Edward Woodward, Beatie Edney, and Denis Quilley, the film was predominantly shot in Toro in Bauchi state, Nigeria.
