Not entirely true my daughter still wears shoes wrongly and she will be 6 next month,she will even argue with you that she's correct. Where as her cousin both boys aged 2 and 3 never wears them wrongly

Shortly before my son's 4th birthday, he stopped. We tell him he is wearing bananas.

My friend told me to be beating him, I replied I don't fully understand child psychology and their brain and eventually he stopped after sometime.
He even says ' mummy see I am not wearing bananas' lol.

I am glad I didn't beat him for it.

There are genius children and there are very dull children, between these extremes, there are kids with varying brain capabilities.

I was 5 and comfortable with it.
What i dont know weda its right or wrong is not my problem.

I almost reached 6years.

I have seen about 2 children (just 1year old) who never missed wearing their footwears (most especially slippers) right. I would confused them by changing the right to left, they would still get it right again
They’ve always been wearing it right since they started walking. Where they got that knowledge from still baffles me and makes me think if I was created by God’s servant who strayed away before completing his apprenticeship.

Children these days are smarter

3 Months

Around 6 years or so. It was a constant battle

i still wear it wrongly

Good you didn't beat him. You have damaged his emotional health. Parenting requires patient, and correction done severally in love will there is perfection. My 4 years still misses it but my 1.9-year-old has never worn it wrong. Even when the father and I mix it up bit still get his thing right. Every child with different capacity.
