Revelation 7 opens with another vision from the LORD where John hears that the angels holding the four winds should not hurt the earth until all the servants of the LORD are sealed. 144,000 persons are sealed to the LORD as his firstfruits. They will be the heaven of the new world heaven that God will create. They are twelve thousand each from the twelve tribes of Israel. The tribe of Dan is not among these twelve. Maybe the tribe of Dan is Judas Iscariot. The tribe of Dan betrayed the oracles of the LORD to the enemies of the LORD. Revelation 8 opens with the opening of the seventh seal and silence in heaven for thirty minutes. Seven angels in the presence of the LORD are given trumpets. Revelation 9 opens with a star that falls from heaven having the key of the bottomless pit. This is when Jesus died and descended into the grave. Even in the grave Jesus is Lord. He released the spirits that were held captive and unleashed them upon the earth to preach and proclaim his victory to the pain disdain, eternal shame, and hurt of satan and his hordes. The message that these locusts [and horses] preached burned satan and his dogs like fire and scorched them to their bones. The locust army of the LORD, the first woe, were given power to torment the world/the recalcitrant third part for 500years (if one year/12 months with the LORD equals 1000years, 5 months would equal 500years). Their words stung the recalcitrant. They could not escape the message of the locusts, they could not escape the stinging pain, and yet they could not die too. For 500 years beginning circa 476AD when Rome was bound in the bottomless pit/dark ages, these locust army tormented the inhabiters of the earth with prophecy of doom and destruction that was coming upon the wicked and recalcitrant third |

Revelation 9:7-9 7 And the shapes of the locusts were like unto horses prepared unto battle; and on their heads were as it were crowns like gold, and their faces were as the faces of men. 8 And they had hair as the hair of women, and their teeth were as the teeth of lions. 9 And they had breastplates, as it were breastplates of iron; and the sound of their wings was as the sound of chariots of many horses running to battle. The warriors of Christ moved and dispersed to all corners of the earth to spread the message of redemption and to show sinners their folly. The crown of gold on their head is to show that they were men of wisdom, understanding, and enlightenment. They had stings in their tails (Isaiah 9:15); they were the prophets of the LORD. They had the faces of men, that is, they were loving and compassionate men. They had the hair of women meaning they were attractive men with strength and vigour. They had breastplates of iron, that is, human strength, obstinacy, fortitude, honor, courage, sharpness (of body and mind), tenacity, and confidence in power. Revelation 9:13-15 13 And the sixth angel sounded, and I heard a voice from the four horns of the golden altar which is before God, 14 Saying to the sixth angel which had the trumpet, Loose the four angels which are bound in the great river Euphrates. 15 And the four angels were loosed, which were prepared for an hour, and a day, and a month, and a year, for to slay the third part of men. At the sixth trumpet a voice is heard from the four horns of the golden altar which is before God, these four horns and the voice is the whole of creation, the perfect creation of God, the voice of completion, door, creation, dominion (authority). At this trumpet sound, the four (completion) angels that were originally restrained at the Euphrates were loosed, and for one hour, one day, one month, and one year they were given the authority to slay the recalcitrant and disobedient third, they were slain/killed spiritually John sees a vision of an army of horsemen (much like the locust army) released upon the inhabiters of the earth. The locust army symbolises the first wave of Apostles and preachers to the world. The horsemen army symbolises the second wave of Apostles and preachers to the world. Like Paul’s first and second missionary journey. Revelation 9:16-18 16 And the number of the army of the horsemen were two hundred thousand thousand: and I heard the number of them. 17 And thus I saw the horses in the vision, and them that sat on them, having breastplates of fire, and of jacinth, and brimstone: and the heads of the horses were as the heads of lions; and out of their mouths issued fire and smoke and brimstone. 18 By these three was the third part of men killed, by the fire, and by the smoke, and by the brimstone, which issued out of their mouths. · These horses made them swift to spread the message. · The men that sat on them were the kings of the LORD. His Apostles and Messengers · They were having breastplates of fire, and of jacinth, and brimstone to protect them, Jacinth is worn by the priests making these men the priests of the LORD. They were wearing burning brimstone so that anyone that touches them gets horribly burnt and dies. · The heads of the horses that looked like lions’ head was to tear any opposition to the word of God to pieces in a swift way The fire and brimstone out of their mouth was the proclamation of the LORD’s vengeance upon the recalcitrant third of the earth. They killed this recalcitrant third spiritually but in a good way because they killed men to their wild old godless ways and restored them to fellowship to the LORD. Despite all the plagues and woes, there remained a part of the recalcitrant third that could not be converted to the ways of the LORD, this part continued in their evil ways. The part of the third that refused to repent or who escaped out of the hands of these vengeance harbingers of the LORD stubbornly refused to repent when they saw these great works. These men are completely drunken with wormwood, they cannot be saved Revelation 9:20-21 20 And the rest of the men which were not killed by these plagues yet repented not of the works of their hands, that they should not worship devils, and idols of gold, and silver, and brass, and stone, and of wood: which neither can see, nor hear, nor walk: 21 Neither repented they of their murders, nor of their sorceries, nor of their fornication, nor of their thefts. |

Revelation 10 opens with John’s vision of an angel. The angel that John saw is Jesus Christ. He is the lion of Judah and the one with the voice of thunder, he is the one with the face of the Sun. Jesus commissioned John to spread his message of redemption for the repentant and doom for the unrepentant. Revelation 10:1-3 10 And I saw another mighty angel come down from heaven, clothed with a cloud: and a rainbow was upon his head, and his face was as it were the sun, and his feet as pillars of fire: 2 And he had in his hand a little book open: and he set his right foot upon the sea, and his left foot on the earth, 3 And cried with a loud voice, as when a lion roareth: and when he had cried, seven thunders uttered their voices. The angel asks John to seal up what he had heard even as John wants to start writing what he has heard from the seven thunders. The angel informs John that there is no more time because the instant the seventh angel begins to sound, the mystery of God is completed, that is, there is now a complete understanding of the mysteries that God has revealed about himself to the prophets of old which they have written down for us. There is now a full understanding of the revelation of God as he revealed to his prophets. Revelation 10:4-7 4 And when the seven thunders had uttered their voices, I was about to write: and I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Seal up those things which the seven thunders uttered, and write them not. 5 And the angel which I saw stand upon the sea and upon the earth lifted up his hand to heaven, 6 And sware by him that liveth for ever and ever, who created heaven, and the things that therein are, and the earth, and the things that therein are, and the sea, and the things which are therein, that there should be time no longer: 7 But in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, when he shall begin to sound, the mystery of God should be finished, as he hath declared to his servants the prophets. The word of God as revealed to John was very sweet in his mouth. The revelations were very sweet to hear but the message and doctrine was bitter truth Revelation 10:8-11 8 And the voice which I heard from heaven spake unto me again, and said, Go and take the little book which is open in the hand of the angel which standeth upon the sea and upon the earth. 9 And I went unto the angel, and said unto him, Give me the little book. And he said unto me, Take it, and eat it up; and it shall make thy belly bitter, but it shall be in thy mouth sweet as honey. 10 And I took the little book out of the angel's hand, and ate it up; and it was in my mouth sweet as honey: and as soon as I had eaten it, my belly was bitter. 11 And he said unto me, Thou must prophesy again before many peoples, and nations, and tongues, and kings. This is the same book/scroll that Ezekiel ate in Ezekiel 3. It is sweet in his mouth, but the message is bitter. John is sent with the message to the whole world Ezekiel 3:1-4 3 Moreover he said unto me, Son of man, eat that thou findest; eat this roll, and go speak unto the house of Israel. 2 So I opened my mouth, and he caused me to eat that roll. 3 And he said unto me, Son of man, cause thy belly to eat, and fill thy bowels with this roll that I give thee. Then did I eat it; and it was in my mouth as honey for sweetness. 4 And he said unto me, Son of man, go, get thee unto the house of Israel, and speak with my words unto them. Ezekiel 3:14 King James Version 14 So the spirit lifted me up, and took me away, and I went in bitterness, in the heat of my spirit; but the hand of the Lord was strong upon me. In the case of Ezekiel, he is only sent to the house of Israel, John is sent to the whole world, to peoples, and nations, and tongues, and kings. so we should imagine how bitter the message to the world would be. It is a bitter message that is sent through these two prophets |

Revelation 1:1-2 1 And there was given me a reed like unto a rod: and the angel stood, saying, Rise, and measure the temple of God, and the altar, and them that worship therein. 2 But the court which is without the temple leave out, and measure it not; for it is given unto the Gentiles: and the holy city shall they tread under foot forty and two months. Zechariah 2:1-5 1 I lifted up mine eyes again, and looked, and behold a man with a measuring line in his hand. 2 Then said I, Whither goest thou? And he said unto me, To measure Jerusalem, to see what is the breadth thereof, and what is the length thereof. 3 And, behold, the angel that talked with me went forth, and another angel went out to meet him, 4 And said unto him, Run, speak to this young man, saying, Jerusalem shall be inhabited as towns without walls for the multitude of men and cattle therein: 5 For I, saith the Lord, will be unto her a wall of fire round about, and will be the glory in the midst of her. Revelation 11 opens with the measurement of the temple of the LORD. Measuring the temple of God is an assurance that there will be judgement and more importantly there will be redemption of Israel. Israel will be redeemed in judgment and her converts will be redeemed in righteousness. Israel will be judged by making her become subservient to the gentiles while the gentiles will be redeemed in their righteousness, by their works after they have been given the earth. The gentile that will be saved is the righteous gentile. Isaiah 1:27 Zion shall be redeemed with judgment, and her converts with righteousness. Israel of the LORD will be restored and beautified and glorified. The LORD will greatly bless his redeemed |

Revelation 11:3-5 3 And I will give power unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and threescore days, clothed in sackcloth. 4 These are the two olive trees, and the two candlesticks standing before the God of the earth. 5 And if any man will hurt them, fire proceedeth out of their mouth, and devoureth their enemies: and if any man will hurt them, he must in this manner be killed. 6 These have power to shut heaven, that it rain not in the days of their prophecy: and have power over waters to turn them to blood, and to smite the earth with all plagues, as often as they will. We can see from what we have learnt so far that the two witnesses of the LORD are the Locust Army, and the Horsemen Calvary. A thousand two hundred and twenty days is the same as 42 months (30day/month). During the time that they are given the task to spread the word of God to the world, Jerusalem is in Bondage of the gentiles. The are clothed in sackloth because the accomplished the work in great physical pain, and deprivation, and perpetual mourning. They had a bitter message to the world They are the two olive trees; they are the two candlesticks standing before the God of the earth. And as we saw previously, if any enemy tries to hurt these men, fire devoured these enemies, and if any man will hurt them, he must in this manner be killed. These two witnesses had so much power that they could cause famines and droughts, they had the power to turn waters into blood meaning the power to preach and convict people of their sins and cause them to repent from their ways. They had the power to bring plagues upon the earth of they were threatened These two witnesses concluded their work circa 1400AD when the beast (Rome) arose again from the bottomless pit. This point is very important to emphasize to those Christians who think that there is still a lot of evangelism work that needs to be done, and so Jesus cannot return anytime soon, because this work is not accomplished. Sorry. The work of evangelizing the whole earth was concluded over 500years ago. We will see this fact in the verse below Colossians 1:23 If ye continue in the faith grounded and settled, and be not moved away from the hope of the gospel, which ye have heard, and which was preached to every creature which is under heaven; whereof I Paul am made a minister; |
