I always encourage research before stocking so that u will know buyers and prices currently below 1kg is 1000 per kg and above 1kg is 1200-1400 per kg
And it's always good to have feeding money so that if the market women offers unfavourable price you can ignore them until the price is right because those women capitalize on the economic situation to down price.

It depends on location that's why it's always good to find out what's in demand before stocking in my area even if you have 6kg they will buy and if you have 1kg they hardly buy while in some places they demand only 1kg so demand differs from location to location

Regular change of water is the key if it's on earthen pond change water at least once a month and always top up water level with this contamination will be far from the fishes

Catfish is more rugged to rear in extreme cases

In earthen ponds you have natural water recycling system but in concrete or tapolin ponds you can install or you change water ever 2-3 days to keep the fish fresh and clean from contamination

Sometimes you just notice that your catfish will just stop eating what could have triggered this behaviour its very worrisome because if the fishes don't eat they loose weight and will not grow this is a sad reality many catfish farmers face, but there is a solution watch below ;
