How Much Money Can I Give To Set Up My Brother For Business by teekay213(m): 11:29am On Mar 21, 2022 |
Hi Nairalander, I have a younger brother whom I have been trying to join me in the UK for some years now but all our efforts didn't work. Now he's tired of hustling to travel and said if he had invested or had he's own business all those time he wasted trying to travel out he will have been a big person by now and I somehow agreed with him so he's asking me for business money. So I'm thinking how much money can I give him to setup a business and move on with his life that he won't have to look at anyone to feed though I have a figure in mind but I still want to hear from guys |

Alright let me say prestisibly, that's as quickly as possible... There are questions that needs to be asked and answers must be provided before delving into any business 1. Does he have any business experience 2. Does he have any knowledge of how business works (the ups and downs) 3. The money you are willing to give to him, will determine the type of business he can open Having said that " do not venture into any business you have no idea about " I would suggest the following business anyway 1. Buying and selling of cements, building materials, paints 2. Buying and selling of bags of rice, salt, flowers 3. If the money is long, set up a Gas station for him These businesses sells on daily basis For 1 & 2 ... 3M should be okay For 3... You need 10,15,20M 1 Like |

It depends on the kind of business he wants to venture into. So you need to discuss with him about that. |

teekay213: Given Nigeria current economic realities, 3M should be the start of anything you're considering, 5M would be better if you want him truly stabilised Have you considered registering a business brand name and all for hizm in UK. While he executes a digital enterprise he can transact online? Words on the street says it makes visa application easier. 1 Like |

teekay213:What type of business is he into? Are you funding him fully or partially? What's your worth and how much can you give without it affecting you? The questions go on and on. Sincerely, you are the best person to know how much to give your brother and no one here can accurately tell you how much to give |
