Guber 2023: Etoi PDP Statutory Delegates Endorse Umo Eno

The gubernatorial aspiration of the Honourable Commissioner for Lands and Water Resources, Pastor Umo Eno has continued to enjoy widespread adoption and endorsement, as all statutory delegates from Etoi Clan in Uyo Local Government Area, Tuesday, unanimously endorsed him as sole candidate.

In a meeting held at the residence of the Member Representing Uyo State Constituency in Akwa Ibom State House of Assembly, Hon. Anietie Eka, the statutory delegates unanimously endorsed Pastor Umo Eno as their preferred governorship candidate for the party in the forthcoming elections.

Speaking, the Uyo Assemblyman flanked by his wife, Mrs. Mercy Eka reiterate their avowed commitment and support to the Governor's completion agenda assuring that, they were going to lead the compaign for his succession plan.

"This is a time to test your loyalty. Before now, I have already taken a decision that whoever the Governor brought, that's the person I will support because if not for God through Governor Udom Emmanuel and his wife and the political class led by Otuekong Enobong Uwah, I won't have been in the State Assembly today."

On his part, Prince Enebong Enebong who spoke onbehalf of the delegates assured the Lawmaker of 100% votes from Etoi Clan for Pastor Umo Eno adding that, their resolution to support the Governor's succession plan was resolute.

Also speaking, the former Managing Director of Akwa Savings Limited, Mr. Ebong Bassey commended the Lawmaker for organizing the meeting and bringing the delegates of Etoi together to support the Governor's preferred candidate.

Goodwill messages were received by the SA to the Governor on Social Re-orientation, Mr. Ekpeno Gold, Chapter Vice Chairman of PDP, Mrs. Uduak Okon, Leader of Uyo Legislative Council, Hon. Ubong Effiong and selected speakers and they all pledged their total support, loyalty and solidarity to Umo Eno's governorship project
