CRAZY IDEA PART 1
Have you ever had a crazy idea before? Did you execute it?
I have, years back me and my friend named Bobo had a crazy idea. There is this term known as “Lasa” in Hausa which means to seize somebody stuffs or items forcefully.
So Bobo and I crazy idea was to lasa someone and this how we planned to execute it; we agreed to carve a wooden gun and wrap it with black rubber band so as to compel anyone we meet to give us their stuffs (those who played a lot while they were young will understand and know what am talking about better), so also we agreed to perform our act in the night and anyone who will fall victim will be lasad. Thou our main target are teenagers like us.
The D day for us to embark on our mission, our carved wooden gun was set and furnished to look like a real gun. We already knew the location to position ourselves; it was a zigzag and private pathway in which people hardly pass by known as “longu” it a perfect location to lasa somebody easily and we hoped that at least we could see our mates who might fall victim for us to lasa that day.
We waited for minutes, minutes turned to an hour. Of course few people did pass by but it was either old women or uncles who can beat us if we dare try any nonsense, so we jejely humbled ourselves and stayed low. We were about giving up for the day since no targeted victim came by, suddenly we saw a mature man staggering coming our path mere looking at him it was vivid that he was drunk.
Bobo whispered to me;
“Ada mo lasa this man” (Ada let seize something from this man)
“Bobo you no see say this man be like person father? (Bobo didn’t you see that this man look like somebody’s father?)
“Yes na but he don drink, na the opportunity to collect something from him hand easily. (Yes but he is already drunk, it the opportunity for us to collect something from him easily)
Na true fa, oya mo go sharp sharp before another person come. (It true let go quickly before another person start coming)
Bobo was the one holding the wooden gun, he went to the man and pointed the wooden gun at him;
“Give us your phone and money or I go shoot you!”
“Bobo you see this man like person were get money?” (Bobo do you see this man as someone with money on him?)
“Oya give us your phone or I go shoot you” (give us your phone or I will shoot you)
The next thing we heard was;
“May una shoot me na, I want die shoot! Shoot!! Oya shoot me!!!” (You people should shoot me, I want to die, shoot! Shoot!! Shoot me!!!)
Me and Bobo was surprised
“This man dey very drunk fa, Bobo mo leave am jeje may no be our hand this man go die” (this man is indeed drunk, Bobo let leave him alone it not by our hands he will die)
Before we could take any step the next words we heard from this man was;
“My belle! My belle!! This boy don shoot me o!, See blood! See blood!! (My stomach! My stomach!! This boy has shot me! Look at blood! Look at blood!!)
Aha! Bobo and I began to doubt if it was a wooden gun we took with us, the way the man was screaming ehn, to worsen the matter the man fell down rolling
“Ada mo run leave this man before person come” (Ada let run and leave this man before someone come and meet us here)
“Mo run na” (let run) � �

We thought we had a crazy idea and we met someone who was crazier than us ,
After that incident Bobo and I never tried the crazy idea to lasa someone.
