Lol! Back to the matter... It's not a bad deal, actually. According to the article, China seems to be Nigeria's major source of revenue from Solid Minerals, amounting to about 85% of the revenue. What if tomorrow, China says "we're done!" Hmmm another problem! Then, Nigeria would borrow again So, this is a good move! More revenue from different sources! More money in the reserves, then very soon , if approached well, FX would regain value. By the way, lately we're just seeing large figures! Money everywhere for this government! They should improve the standard of living! Prices are just going up! 24 Likes 6 Shares |

I wonder why successive governments in Nigeria have refused to create wealth from already existing natural resources we have. We have oil in abundance, why can't we create wealth by refining it? We have abundant gas reserve, why is there still scarcity of gas? We have gold, why do we still import gold at high price? Do we need to wait for foreigners to invest in our gas exploration before we start making money from it? This Russia-Ukraine conflict should be a perfect avenue for Nigeria to earn a lot of FOREX by selling oil at higher price, but unfortunately, whatever we make will still be used in paying subsidy because we can't refining our oil. If we had invested in gas exploration, by now most EU members would have turned to Nigeria... 32 Likes 3 Shares |

Seems one or two people are seeing the bigger picture and room for profitability. Although, Russia has Europe by the balls with that 40% of supply of gas they do there. Europe will be disorganized should Russia turn off the pipes, Russia's investment in infrastructure to Easy logistics of gas is what is saving her. Over here we have our country telling the EU to invest in our gas so we can supply them. Too bad our refineries are in ruins, we should be cashing out again big time. Plus there's something eerily prophetic about this war, it seems it's effect has a ripple worldwide compared to previous ones. Anyways, I think America will be the king that loses his crown, they were not really part of the 10 toes/10 Kings. 5 Likes |

Nigeria is capable of supplying Europe with gas. Remember we supply Benin Republic power and they've celebrated more than a decade of non interrupted power supply yet we wallow in darkness. So don't despise Timipre Silva, Nigerian is a useless country 40 Likes 3 Shares |

That will have been a great miracle for Nigeria out of the current hardship but I doubt Nigera's ability to assume the role of supplying gas to Europe because we can't even power our electricity power plants with enough gas and cooking gas is prices is on the high roof. 6 Likes |

Bad move. Western Europe should not be investing in Nigeria... You people dont know who they truly are..... We can sell gas to them but they should not invest here. This is what happens when people who do not know history are installed as leaders. Western Europe does not mean well for Africa. They are not your friends... Once they "invest" they will start interfering in the government to protect their interests at the expense of me and you. Nigerians please resist this. 5 Likes |

Is it same gas they wouldn't supply GENCOs or the domestic (cooking) gas that they claim is scarce and hence costly? Miscalculation is the natural experience of this regime. Timipruye should understand that in the developed world, business is different from politics. Most of the IOCs that left Naija are still operating in Europe so calm down. Plus fg must be very careful. Same Russia supply you arms when big bros refused. 7 Likes |

to Putin's cock suckers. I remember one of the above urchins from Putin's garbage being told Nigeria should start making smart consultations in order to expand its energy trade but the amoeba blabbing nonsense like his wasted mentor Putin Said, "Nigeria doesn't need to, the country should simply wait for them to come and bow to purchase our Oil. Maybe he's among this crooked government, and now he's realizing there are other countries eagerly waiting for the west's call. |
