I don't blame these students. There is no need coming back. Nigeria is currently in a big mess. They should continue to dig in. I love EU with their liberal approach towards refugees. A Nigerian has successfully moved to Austria with other refugees.

The guy in Austria is receiving 250 Euros every month, with shopping voucher to pick up provisions and specified items at some designated super market in Vienna, Austria.

If you are student, please remain put there and keep digging it. The EU law would surely protect you. Coming back is not an option. Where do you even start sef? No job, electricity, opportunity, ASUU is on strike and the government won't provide you any assistance except that they have worked to bring you home.

I don't know how true this news is but I have alot of friends that flee to Germany after the ukraine stuff and was given 3 month residence paper with opportunity to renew after every 3 month and also Germany is paying them 400 euros every month with unlimited hours for them to work

Those people have sought asylum.No EU country give residence papers for 3months,minimum 1year,It is aduro card to be renewed every 3 months.
Germany pay aduro €400 every month and a right to work same as Sweden with 2,200 SEK($280) monthly

Key word is "living", students or whatever as long as they were legally living in Ukraine dey have to go anywhere safe during a war... If they want to come to Nigeria fine, if they want to relax and get their mind and body in a good place based what they have experience, then they have the right to go same places Ukranians when dey flee the war dey go to (my criteria is any country a car can drive to from ukraine is a valid place for any nigerian that was living in ukraine to go to).

When the EU woman,Ursula talked about invoking ”mass flight directive” in the EU.She said Foreign students must return home.
Mass flight directive is meant for ukrainian citizens and recognised refugees in UKRAINE and family members.

I don't see anything wrong here.
Normally, you need permit to enter these countries.
If not for the irresponsility of nigerian leaders, they should have make provision for them to return and cool down.

This isn’t racism. You need a visa to enter Poland or Estonia. War in Ukraine does not remove that burden. This students had every opportunity to leave Ukraine and return to their country as early as January.
