Just a point of correction; Igbo soldiers attack, kill, maim their Igbo brothers and sisters in Igbo communities, the same way Benue, Yoruba soldiers attack their kinsmen all in the name of representing Nigerian army. This is not about Fulanis, trust me, the real owners of these cows are your tribal men/women.

There was a time we rented about 5 acres of land for plantain plantation, after spending all our resources to hire tractor and buy suckers, an herd of cattles of about 200 came and distroyed everything. The villagers approached us that we should be very careful because the owner is one popular professor who had the backing of government. According to them, the matter has been reported several times, and nothing was done by security agents. We later contacted the man(a yoruba man) after several attempts, he told us frankly that we should mount a big fense on our farm to prevent cattle or better still, relocate our farm because he is also doing his business.

We eventually reported the case to one of my friends cousin who is a soldier, though they invited him to their barrack but nothing was done. That was how our ambition and plan was cut short.

Now, how do you trust those soldiers to protect you?
