While addressing the press, Oni of Ife said Igbos are of the lineage of Obatala and that they were the first human race. He said Igbos were in Ile Ife and that the Aje festival they were celebrating was first celebrated by Igbos while they (Yorubas) are only custodians. He actually began his confession by saying "truth be told...".

He added that the claim that Igbos came from the Jews (fake white Jews) is false and that the reverse is actually the case.

There are three takes from this your post.
1. The Igbos are the ancestors of the Yorubas.
2. The Igbos are not Jews, didn't migrate from Israel or any part of the middle east.
3. The legend of Nri that we keep hearing from Igbos is either false or exists in yorubaland and precisely ile-ife
Na wa oo. The more you look, the more you see undecided

1. They are actually from the same stock, same blood.. It was one people and one land of Idu from East to West.
2. It depends on whether or not you're referring to those in the 1948 fake land of Israel. There are about 3 waves of Igbo speaking people. The first being the ancients (Summerians) whom the Oni of Ife probably referred to as the gods living in the period before humanity. The second being the ancient Hebrews (Israelites) who migrated from Egypt (Exodus) having migrated there earlier from below the Sahara, Igbo land, the ancient land of Summer. The third being those Hebrews who came from Ethiopia/Nubia following the Assyrian and Babylonian captivities. Even these are traceable back to their origin, the ancient land of Idu.
3. It existed in Igbo land. Those in Ile Ife and even Igodomigodo knew their origin is Igbo land. Reason when there was war, they naturally fled eastwards, towards their fathers house... the place of the ancient Nri kingdom.

***We are all still learning. And like you said, it's like the more your look, the more you see.

idu is the ancient name for Edo\Benin empire, you can also call it igodomigodo. This your statement implies that both Yorubas and Igbos actually came from Edo\idu\igodomigodo, while some Igbos agree that they are actually Edos, some don't. You will see an Igbo traditional ruler with complete Edo paraphelia while the people will reject being Edos. Yorubas are even worse, they will claim they fell from the sky or an unknown destination instead of just owning up that the unknown destination\sky is idu\Edo\Igodomigodo.

Igodomigodo is only a part of Idu land.
Igbos are Idu descendants. Idu-Eri is the name of their ancestor and yours (If you are indigenous Igodomigodo).
And there is a difference between Idu and Benin (the empire formed after Igodomigodo was invaded). "Benin" was coined by colonialists from the Yoruba "Ile-Ibinu" and became the name for the kingdom ruled by the Yoruba invaders.
