Left end of March, 4 days later, I got a better job and even had to choose between two job options. No stress, distance not far, no more multitasking between 5 or more job roles and I have my own focused job role and full control.

I went for an interview and the boss laughed about the stop gaps in my CV (still got the job though).
I told him Covid-19 made our path to cross else i'm suppose be running my own Instrumentation and Control company by now..
I am a professional and I don't hesitate to quit from toxic work environment. I am also extremely sensitive person so I put my 100% to work and mind my own business.

Everything depends on the skills you have and how you present your C.V. Secondly, luck can be a factor because if there weren't job openings in those companies as at the time I applied, then I might still be searching. cos even before I dropped from work, I have been applying to different jobs and till the moment I chose the one I am doing, I can say I applied to up to 15 different job openings if not more.

And mind you, I am just starting the work and can't really say how everything will turn out... But in all, we hope for the best and always prepared for the worst... Nigerian employers can be dramatic and satanic at the same time

There should be a page on nairaland where people can do research on companies before accepting employment from them.

Some of these organisations just bring people in (sometimes from better jobs/companies) and abuse them literally!

When you get there, you will start seeing all the rubbish they're made of.
