I also need one as well and i am looking for a game dealer here that has one available. to be honest, its really hard to secure one even overseas. current you have to reserve one before you can purcahse. Meaning it is only when its available, one can purchase and all available units are reserved and assigned for.

Boss you are right but with right settings you should be able to play all your AAA games on it , patiently waiting for steam deck but want Aya neo so bad

You have to reserve and you can't if you are in Nigeria cause of delivery or you buy it on ebay and beware of scam .You can also check Facebook groups follow the active groups and post if anyone is ready to sell ,saw couple though

Understand your point , price will be high if someone is selling to you and no market value here in Nigeria unless you go for Nintendo switch. With steamdeck in Nigeria you still need stable internet to down your AAA and first startup updates

Steam deck is even harder to get than when ps5 came out. You have to order and wait in queue. It’s $400.

Depends on the storage size, that could actually be a very good price. A 256gb Steamdeck would cost around $570 after sales tax. Add shipping and convert with black market rates.

Usd to naira has doubled/ trippled, the market nature(demand} dictates the price more than simple currency conversion, just like xbox but worse, it has no foothold in Nigerian market.

Steamdeck Isn’t ever going to be a mass market thing in Nigeria. It’s niche, and specifically will appeal to an audience that knows the value. Specifically high end PC gaming in a handheld format.

For people in that category, it’s a game changer. Almost all Steamdeck sales I’ve seen are in the 450k range, and that was months ago before the exchange rate cratered.

Before you see anyone sell a Deck to you for the kind of budgets you’re pulling out, it’ll be way in the future when the new models come out.
