Reporting to the Head of Marketing the Marketing Officer is responsible for implementing marketing strategies to increase market awareness and membership base.

He/she is expected to carry out customer research, market conditions information, and competitor data and implement the marketing plan with the overall aim of increasing profitability.

Responsibilities
1. Market the Cooperative’s products and services and grow the Cooperative’s membership base

2. Recruit new members and surpass monthly targets on recruitment

3. Execute the marketing plan and ensure that it is delivered within the budget

4. Implement Online Marketing and Social Media Management initiatives

5. Execute operational excellence, cost management, and compliance with internal policies and guidelines

6. Visit members and undertake the cooperative contributions collections

7. Handle loan applications and reconcile monthly deductions

8. In charge of member's welfare and development

9. Handles members’ inquiries and challenges

10. Other activities, as may be required by the cooperative society
