some sell because they are tired, because they need money, because they want to branch out into different biz, because they have reach a point where they dont believe they can do more etc etc...but dont wrongly assume that everyone wants to sell their biz. again. Mark Zukeberg will never sell FB and even his children wont be able to sell FB. the biz is setup in such a way that it will stay in his family forever, even if they want to sell it after his death. Jeff Bezos doesnt want to sell Amazon.
