Scripture Text: 1 Thessalonians 5:22

Calvary greetings to you brethren in Christ. We thank God for His saving grace upon us and the precious gift of life Christ to us all.

Without much ado, let's all consider things that appear like evil and a must for us to abstain from if we consider ourselves as true children of God, saved by Christ.

1. Following friends who follow night life-style
2. Telling lies- you tell people exactly opposite what a situation is for whatever reason.
3. Sitting and chatting away your precious time with smokers and drunks at the bar or ungodly places.
4. Gossiping or paying attention to gossips.
5. Caught in a compromising situation of any kind that doesn't give glory to God.
6. Watching porns.
7. Exposure of your body-God's Temple to the public or any form of indecent dressing.
8. Permitting the opposite sex to touch sensitive parts of your body, especially someone who is not your spouse.
9. Exposing your private parts to opposite sex while sitting.
10. Going or traveling around to conferences with opposite sex to be with them with an ulterior motive.
11. Lack of Scripture indepth and knowledge.
12. Weak prayer altars.
13. Poor reading culture- especially Christian literatures and books that can boost your spiritual life.
14. Lack of quiet time with God.
15. Inordinate love for positions.
16. Unholy attention to money or too much love of money.
17. Entertainment lovers- bringing comedians to the altar of God in the Chirch. The Church is a sacred place of prayer and worship not an entertainment centre.
18. Sermon proof Christians- the Word of God doesn't penetrate into their lives. They always have a second opinion to every word that comes out of a preacher and turn the Bible upside down. They only select and hold on to the sermon that is convenient for them and discard the one that brush their egos. They love to go and stay long in the church but don't have a change of heart towards God.
19. Hypocrites who preach Christ to others but do exactly opposite what Christ expects from a true child of God.
20. They lack faith and only believe what they see.

If you are guilty of one, some or all of the aforementioned, you need to repent and turn to God before it is too late. There's room at the Cross and the grace of God is not a passport to sin but to avoid sin. God is merciful and always forgives.

If you would like to give your life to Christ, just say this short prayer:

"Lord Jesus, I come to You today, come into my life, take control of my life, and change my world, in Your name I pray, amen".

Congratulations!!!

Peace!

Repent from what sins exactly? All I see is list created of lies that are meant to throw people off God's Truth, Jesus Christ. undecided
