A nation of Israel needed a President (King) after the ignominious expiration of the terms of President (King) Saul. As it is in Nigeria today, there were many contenders.
The presidency unlike Nigeria was actually zoned to the Jesse's region. Every available contenders, started obtaining forms. Based on their qualifications, experience, political and economic connection, one or two of them was actually able to secure the support of the godfather, Chief Jesse as anointed candidate.
But on the day of the primary, there was a surprise. The most qualified lost the primary through disqualification. Likewise was the other major and minor contenders totally disqualified.
Who will now be the president?
The answer is beyond any man. Like Nigeria today, every Tom, Dick and Harry wants to be president.
The word of God is very clear: Psalms 75:6-7
[6]For promotion cometh neither from the east, nor from the west, nor from the south.
[7]But God is the judge: he putteth down one, and setteth up another.
Who is the next Nigerian President?........
