Many guys had argued that the defunct USSR is different from the current Russia.Sincerely speaking they are right in some ways but not absolutely right in many ways.

The Soviet Union was founded by the Russian Bolshevik communist party,led by Vladimir Lenin after they overthrew Czar Nicholas II during the Russian revolution in 1917.In the years ahead, Lenin entered a treaty with some countries around Russia to form the Soviet Union in 1922.Russia was the biggest & largest in the former Soviet Union.

The capital of the USSR was already a city in Russia called Moscow.

Russia,being the founder & head of the former Soviet Union entered, retained & maintained every thing about Russia inside the Union more than other Union members.

Russia entered the Union with the system of their goverment introduced by the Russian Bolshevik communist party.. communism was the system of government used all through the years the Union lasted.

The Russian language dominated other minority language's in the Union.

The Russian Ruble was the legal tender in use all through the years of the Soviet Union's era.

The Russian Kremlin was also used all through the years of the Soviet Union's era.

Russian's being the dominant ethnic group, refer to other minor ethnic groups as LITTLE RUSSIANS.

Apart from Russia,no member of the old Soviet Union still uses, Ruble, Kremlin or celebrates May 9th victory day.

In 1991 immediately after the collapse of the Soviet Union, Russia formed, THE COMMONWEALTH OF INDEPENDENT STATES, known as the CIS in other to keep the Union together but it also failed.
