EMOTIONS
The power of emotion
Leads to stability or commotion.
With gladness or sadness,
When can love or hurt b spoken to?
Yet emotion's effect, beyond these two
And influences the way we act.
What negotiation, what contract??
Nay, it comes as it wills
And can strike, to heal or kill.
Emotions can drive you to the height of ecstasy.
Or can drown u to the depth of misery.
Love leads to good; gladness or inlove
Hurt hits hard with sadness or pain
With either, there's much to lose or gain.
Selfcontrol..yet we don't select emotions
It surges at will & your sense desires to fill.
When inappropriate, to control it, u must
When appropriate, to Iet loose is just.
With emotions we show delight, distress or disgust.
But with emotions, never trust.
