They probably did....but at the end of the day, unarmed security vs a large and armed mob is not a fair fight.

Some years ago, some people were proposing that private security guards be armed. Nothing came out of that. Mayhaps if they had arms....

Also, some years ago, a christian fanatic got into the university mosque in Ibadan and started preaching 'the word of god' during friday prayers from the women's gallery. She was not killed, but she did get into trobule.(suspension).

It was not a cover up. They school security actually did hide the girl but they were over powered. So sad we steal have to deal with issues like this even in the 21st century.

Nigeria is not a Banana Republic where anything goes.

If this people goes free, then Nigeria have no business been a United Country.

The Nigerian Constitution does not recognise any religion and there is free speech in Nigeria. They could have handed over the lady to Sharia Police if they feel she committed a crime against their God.

The lady didn't hurt anybody with her words, she didn't kill anybody and deserve not to be killed in such a gory way.

She was stoned to death, what a pity

This killing must be condemned and people that killed her must pay with their life.
such a strong word ,trust me nothing will happen ,they will handle it just the way they have been handling every other case coming from that region, one Nigeria country to exist in a country were ideology of life is different.


If they really want justice to prevail, they will start by showing their faces ,just as they do down south when criminals are apprehended.
