What is wrong in a situation where a girl corrects her school mates from turning a social media platforms meant to inform them about academic related matters into a religious platform? Is it because of this they they KILLED her??

It's just like someone correcting another person to stop using his or her SHOES ( religion on ) as a pillow on the FAMILY BED ( platform meant for academic matters ) because is not meant to be and therefore called it NONSENSE) and the other member of the family ( school mates ) have to kill her for such statement claiming she blasphemied against the rest of the family. You don't insult people's prophets and call their religion nonsense especially when they are muslins and you live with them in the North. {Al-Saarim al-Maslool} read it for better understanding.
No Muslim with his right sense will burn his/her fellow human
to death.. Islam forbid punishment with fire.. Only Allah the
Creator have the authority to burn someone with fire.
Secondly, no one is permitted to take such judgment on its
own, one need to refer to a qadi. Such hudud can not take

Exactly what i thought when listening. We can't be foolish and offending people and then ultimately blaming God for not delivering us from what we should have never allowed.

Yeah, that's why i referred to the Gentiles/non-Jews. In principle, all believers "know" other gods are dead or yeye or powerless power. But leaving your zone or church or stronghold to go and aggravate things for yourself is simply unnecessary and unwise.
In the OT, people actually had "legal" backing to kill Israelites that worshipped other gods in Israel. Elijah wasn't really out of place in that context. If he went to Nineveh or Babylon or Assyria to do that, he might not have been carried by chariots of fire but by lynching and being set on fire.
Muslins don't know many prophets unlike in christianity where every Jack and Jim are prophets. To them, their prophet is the last, latest, greatest prophet etc. So you have to be very careful how you talk or refer to him.

This and many reasons made me leave Islam for good. Let not my soul come to their habitation,cursed be their anger for it was cruel, For in their anger the killed an innocent lady.
