Different sides of the same coin to be honest. Equally as bad as each other because the intent is to subjugate free will and dictatorially control the choices/opinions of others.

I'm not surprised anyways. Their ignorant is what gave birth to boko haram, herds and banditry in the northern part of the country. Let forget about Almanjiri or the huge amount of money GEJ spend on this people. The main issue is that of sheu shagari students that kill their mate for no good reason I always thought illiteracy is the reason why the northerners were easily brainwashed. How can a group of students commit such crime. This is not Islamic culture,it's the hausa culture.

The entire world accepts that mass illiteracy is one of the biggest problem of the North for too many reasons than is possible to list.

One of the most poignant example of education-linked problem being that Boko Haram and bandit groups will likely never out of eager recruits because of illiteracy that eventually produces restive, unskilled and disillusioned youths who will easily view banditry and terrorism as perhaps their only option.

Knowing all this, we must ask why it has been so difficult for Northern leaders, over decades, to initiate mass literacy programs for everyone as potentially one of the best solutions to myriads of problems facing the North.

When a man eschews solutions then it is obvious he enjoys the problems.
