Banning commercial okada riders in Lagos state is not the best solution for the insecurity for now.
If govt banned commercial riders now what do they want them to be doing the crime rate will increase because all this heartless animals will surely find another way of there survival such as kidnapping, robbery, attacking innocent with aggression, nuisance to the street. But I want the govt to evacuate all this people totally from the state and deport them back to there respective states or country otherwise we will still continue in the same problem.
More so,not only the okada riders even the truck pushers, bowler's and herdsmen in local areas,they are all the same thing including so called security men.
Who ever that want to work in Lagos should follow the proper channel.

Okadas are a real menace.yesterday the Road was clean and sane.crossing the road was easier because there were no bikes that drive recklessly and come out of no where, Knock you down and insult you on top.i was just looking around and the whole road was peaceful and I was like so Lagos can enjoy a day of sanity? The nuisance factor of Okada is too much.their negativity is more than their positive sideS plus They lack decency and courtesy to apologize when they are wrong or corrected by the police or other road users.however I feel banning is not the solution.strict regulation is the solution.they should register in each state and be given a number in that state and local government and they must not move beyond that jurisdiction.that way their chaos will be curtailed.

Okada riders immediately start Keke maruwas anytime they're banned.its almost like their secondary source of income and I agree leadership have been acting with impunity that's why they have no moral justification to enforce the laws Because even they themselves break the traffic laws with impunity and behave as if they are above the law
