From this write-up it is clear that the writer does not know the difference between office of accountant general oagf an office of auditor general Oaugf, and which of the agency reports to public accounts committee, thought both heads are also alled AGF including attorney general

Islie:
■ Suspended Accountant-General invested stolen funds in UAE, UK, Scandinavian countries, as EFCC battles to recover loot

■ How Senate Committee’s 7-year negligence aided sleaze

The Senate Committee in the last 7 years failed to properly monitor and audit the AGFs office .

Note - In the last 7 years .

Was there ever a time that the senate or house committee on Public Accounts properly scrutinized the Auditor-General’s annual report? Are you also aware that the chairmen of both senate and house of Reps committee on public accounts since the last 7 years are PDP members?

That some government officials had the gut to steal N80 billion government funds is an attestation to the fact that the head of the government has been sleeping in office. There must be many other such stealings of huge public funds.

Each and any politicians or persons that have stolen from our National treasury, and make life difficult for Nigerians, since independence, no matter the political party they are, they will never enjoy their stolen goods in good health and peace till the rest of their miserable lives.
Very wicked anyhow people.
For all the suffering people are going through in this nation, any looting and thieving politician/persons, , will not end well.

And this also goes to their supporters, nothing good will come their way in life.

He is corrupt no doubt but I believe strongly that he may have possibly gone against the power that be that's why his own sins are made public.

The dirt from Malami linen may kill all the sea creatures when washed in the sea but no one is talking because he is still playing his role well.

So I will ask, are to be concerned about a principal that looks away when hinted that his officials are corrupt or we should
The efcc does not open investigation without petition. This man was due for retirement two years ago but his service was extended like those of other fulani men because of where he comes from. If he was a southerner, it's either he won't get such a juicy office or they will be looking for ways to remove him. The case of Justice Onoghen & the Bayelsa man who was appointed DSS DG by Prof. Osinbajo readily comes to mind. This brazen acts summarises why the unity of this country is already compromised under Mr. Buhari.

When the senators themselves are also corrupt, so it will be difficult for them to have noticed the sharp practices in the AGF office.
