I was surprised to see fish of #700 bought yesterday by a nairalander yesterday.
https://www.nairaland.com/7133328/please-see-700-naira-fish

This is the one I bought for #600 this morning along Iwo road. Each goes for #300 for sharwa fish anywhere in Ibadan except the fish seller is greedy and the buyer does not know what's up.

How much is it in you area?

Pls mod move to front page so everybody can see that it's not too worst in every part of Nigeria.

You are chilling . This sort would probably go for 1k plus here in Abuja (but you must have the bargaining power of an igbo man to even get it for that price grin)

Now, this is more like it!

The other guy was ripped off big time! Adding to the fact that the fish sold to him didn't seem fresh.

Yours are even bigger and fresher, looking at the fishes' eyes and skin.

The ice fish I bought today in Lagos is laughable.
Soon, some people will start cooking food without fish or meat. The hardship and inflation now is not smiling.

Things are cheap in Ibadan.
I was there last year for my brother's wedding, and was surprised with the prices of food.
I ate a plate 300. Rice 150, beans 50, pomo 100.
Owerri is very annoying, you can't get a plate for 500
