The car is reliable, fuel economy is okay.
However this are your precautionary steps before you come back and say Peugeot is not a good brand.
1. Follow Ikenna AKA Lion King on nairaland
2. Do not remove your thermostat
3. Do not connect your fan directly
4. You car uses a timing belt, make sure you follow the maintenance change of timing belt as scheduled by your mech.
5. Lastly and MOST IMPORTANTLY, find a reliable Peugeot much for it. Not every lech is knowledgeable or can effectively handle a Peugeot.
These are normal things you do with every brands, so don't be scared.

My friend used this car for 7 years.
This car is a very rugged car. It runs very fast and maintenance doesn’t cost much.
Fuel economy is very very ok!
Buy it, at least form experience my friend still drives it more often than his Toyota Avensis because he said the Peugeot is more responsive to him the Avensis
