He was impeached two times, He went to court and was returned back that two times.
INEC conducted election when he has not concluded his four years as Anambra State Governor, He took INEC to court, and defeated INEC and Andy Uba was sacked then he Peter Obi was returned as the governor to complete his four years.
With that he changed the election calendar of Nigeria.
The first governor to fight electoral fraud to a conclusion and came out the winners.

PDP need the support of the goverors, Atiku need the support of the governors cos they control the delegates so Peter Obi stood no chance. But leaving the party was a bad move. He should have participated in the primaries and lose let the world see the gang up clearly. Now he is going to dash the hope of his supporters in the name of one small party that can't win a senatorial District. Obi should return to PDP and be a statemans. Jumping to small parties will not do him any good. It is only ppl with massive structure like Kwankwaso and Tinubu that can float small parties and they will have impact.
